The Model United Nations program is a fun and rigorous program that allows scholars to explore the same topics debated by the nations of the world. Galapagos scholars develop skills such as research, debate, negotiation and public speaking as they advocate for topics related to nuclear disarmament, human rights and environmental standards.
Scholars will participate in three off-site UN conferences and two remote conferences. In these conferences, they will represent different countries and advocate for the policy position that their country would likely take.
The team meets on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 4 pm until 5:10 pm, beginning September 30 at the UA. (The off-site conferences will be announced soon and do require an additional payment.)

Open to 2nd- 3rd grade girls. Program Fee is $20 for the entire program. This program runs at the Lower Academy on Mondays from 4:00-5:10pm. The program begins October 14, 2024 and runs until May 19, 2025 (see exact dates below.)
